I lead all aspects of video production within advertising and broadcast industries, with expert disciplines in the areas of video concept development, editorial news, social media marketing, creative direction, physical production, video shoot procedures, as well as the latest technologies, editing software and cameras. Hands-on A to Z experience, working cross-functionally with team members and key stake-holders.
“While Joe is a jack of all trades when it comes to video, his time and experience in the field and in the studio, has molded him into someone who not only knows how to do many things, but excels at them all.”
— Joe Robba - Producer at Robba Media
Director: Video and Photo
Directed and shot photography and video assets across the State of North Carolina as part of Visit NC's Partner Program. I worked closely with travel, tourism, and business partners from the Mountains, the Piedmont, and the Coast to highlight the beauty of NC. It's not just the beauty of the places, but the beauty in the people you meet along the way.
post production producer and Video Editor
I worked closely with the Davidson College team to edit this conversation with NBA Star Stephan Curry, his coach Bob McKillop and school president Doug Hicks, about his time attending and playing basketball at Davidson Collage and playing in the NBA and leading his non-profit Eat. Learn. Play. Taking raw multi-cam assets shot by the Warriors video team, I edited this conversation in a professional format, cutting it down from approximately 1 hour to a tight 30 minutes, and added color, graphics, and titles.

I led the development and capture of video and photography assets for the Visit NC (North Carolina Tourism Board) “Fall Color in NYC” Campaignn (which won a National Gold Addy), capturing the NYC street marketing activation. The video drove a very strong View Rate of 69% (Benchmark: 50%), meaning over two in three of the 623K viewers opted to watch the campaign creative in full even when given the option to skip.
show director, producer, editor
During COVID, we launched “Girl, We Need to Talk,” a conversation podcast and youtube show about womens’ wellness. We produced this completely virtual, first using zoom and then transitioning to riverside.fm. We also produced live launch parties before each season, remotely directed and operated using OBS software. I worked closely with creators Charity Bailey and Keiona Eady, and Producer Erin Giddens, where I designed the show from the ground-up. Managing all technical aspects, directing the recordings, and producing the audio and editing the visuals, I am very pleased to contribute to a meaningful 3+ season show.

I was super excited to have the opportunity to shoot a video for the Zoo as part of our Visit North Carolina Partner Program. I was amazed at the quantity and quality of the zoo grounds and animal habitats. Not only were there animal habitat after habitat, but they were so expansive. Giraffes and Ostriches grazed on acres of land, Rhinos and Elephants rolled around in dirt, grass, and large watering holes. There were Gorillas, Bears, Birds, Desert Reptiles, Red Wold Foxes, Polar Bears, Butterflies, and so many more. During the 3 days we were there, we had just a glimpse into the amazing care the North Carolina Zoo gives to these amazing animals. It was such a great shoot, and I cannot wait to go back.
Video Director / Director of Photography - Yoshi Mobility
This is one of many projects I directed for Yoshi Mobility. For this spot, we wanted to highlight the many services provided by Yoshi, including gas delivery, windshield wiper replacement, air tire fill-up, windshield cleaning, and even getting your car a wash, no matter if you are at home or at the beach.
